With almost 16+ years under his belt, it’s no wonder that music has always been a real passion for Ralph. Starting his career as the youngest DJ in KJEE’s history in Santa Barbara, he moved onto doing PR for the likes of Ben Gibbard, Jackson Brown as well as touring with artists Other Lives, Radiohead and Local Natives. Then Ralph found his passion working directly with artists – helping to launch and grow their careers while sharing a mutual love of songwriting as part of teams at Red Light Management and Grandstand Media as well as managing artists independently.
As Sr. Director of A&R, Ralph currently oversees creative development of the diverse songwriters/artists and producers that make up the Angry Mob Music roster. As an early champion, Ralph identifies writers with a unique vision to their craft which includes current signings Jake Scott (3.5 million Spotify Monthly’s, co-writer to Aloe Blacc’s “Brooklyn in The Summer”), love-sadKiD (Hobo Johnson, Oliver Tree), KAMI (Chance the Rapper, Joey Purp), Bus (Ty. Dolla $ign, Brent Faiyaz) and MIKNNA (The Free Nationals, Far East Movement), just to name a few.
In addition to A&R, Ralph is an active songwriter himself as the guitarist/singer in the LA based post-punk band Cuffed Up (KCRW, KEXP, BBC RADIO 1).
