Dan grew-up in Minneapolis where he was exposed to intemperate weather and endless live music at the famous First Avenue Danceteria. He has a deep admiration for local legends Prince, The Replacements, Soul Asylum and the Rhymesayers crew.
Moving to Los Angeles after a year traveling Japan, he worked any music job he could find, landing positions at CMH Records, Peer Music and Concord. He loves music and data and finding money for artists, all of which he can pursue at Angry Mob Music!
Dan’s side hustle is DJing weddings and other events. It’s an endless amount of entertainment working with different couples and fielding musical requests from inebriated in-laws. He is also a classically trained pianist, guitar player/collector and once a collegiate-level (D3) swimmer.
When he isn’t working, Dan loves to experience all of California’s natural glory. He goes to concerts and warehouse parties with his wife in Los Angeles and explores the desert, beaches and mountains with his twin daughters.
